I FLY is a collection of original compositions by singer/songwriter Branice McKenzie that encourage one to soar, to FLY. The title selection was composed for a film entitled, "Gentelle's Wings". And the entire CD is, from beginning to end, a journey of introspection, joy, consideration, love, testimony, conviction and the overall theme...possibilities. It is inspiring to listen to "When I Was Five" and celebrate the unbridled joy of a child or "At The Well" to reflect upon the source of all things great and good.

I FLY, is another exceptional artistic work with her music collaborator Richard Cummings - music director, pianist, arranger and producer. Branice and Richard have been making music together for 25 years. They create a magnificent canvas with every note and lyric beautifully executed. One of the outstanding aspects of Branice's work is that it is not genre specific, she moves easily as an artist in an eclectic world of musics - from jazz to pop-rock, from art songs to gospel and everything in between. Harry Belafonte says, "I have not only enjoyed her music, I have been inspired by it".

McKenzie's work is rich and for anyone who is looking for art at its best. You've found it! This exquisite CD will take you above the clouds where you will find yourself.
